47 BANDITS KILLED IN SHIRORO LGA OF NIGER STATE

Reports indicate that local hunters have killed not less than 47 bandits in Shiroro LGA of Niger State. 


The incident occurred on Wednesday after the hunters raided a riverside community in Magami between Shiroro and Rafi LGAs.


Sources say the community is closed to river, which has been used a bandits camp in recent months in Niger.


Eons Intelligence gathered that during the incident, at least 47 bandits were neutralised while others fled with gunshot wounds.


Meanwhile, the Police anti-banditry team in Niger have gunned down a notorious bandits informant, Buba Baromi.


He was killed in Damba forest after hunters led the police to his hideout.

He had been in hiding to recuperate from a gunshot wound earlier sustained during a gun duel with security operatives.


Baromi was not only an informant, he led bandits to targets of attacks and kidnap operations.
