BAUCHI STATE POLICE ARRESTS 28- YEAR OLD MAN FOR RAPING EIGHT CHILDREN

The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a 28-year old man identified as Gwanda Amos for raping eight children between the ages of four and eight.


This was confirmed by the Bauchi State Police spokesperson, Ahmed Wakili.


Wakili revealed that in April, a 35-year old woman identified as Roseline Taimako, alongside seven others, reported at the Tafawa Balewa police station that they noticed unusual and abnormal behaviour from their daughters.


According to the police spokesperson, the women said their daughters confessed to them of being raped by Gwanda Amos.


He added that the women reported that the children often cried of pains in their genitals each time they were having their bath.


The women also narrated to the police that the Gwanda Amos had threatened to kill their daughters if they disclosed the matter to anyone.


According to him, the operatives of the police command swung into action and arrested Gwanda Amos.
