BREAKING: DEATHS, AS EIGHT-STOREY BUILDING COLLAPSES IN OWERRI (VIDEO)
An eight-storey building has collapsed at Yara Dua drive, New Owerri area of Imo state leaving at least two dead and several others trapped.
According to report, the eight storey building was said to be a hotel under construction. It was billed to be the biggest in Owerri.
About 25 workers were said to have been trapped in the ongoing construction of the building that collapsed on Thursday, 30th April.
The cause of the collapse has not been ascertained at the time of this report.

Some police officials, members of Red Cross were seen at the scene assisting in evacuation of the dead and moving some to hospitals for immediate medical attention.
Fifteen persons have, however, been rescued from the rubble while two people have unfortunately been reported dead.
