NO ROBBERY OCCURRED ON KINGSWAY ROAD, IKOYI-POLICE

The Nigeria Police has debunked the reports that military men on patrol foiled a robbery attack on Kingsway Road, Ikoyi, at about 7.30 pm on Wednesday.

The police explained the incident was only a fight between the staff of the Lagos Waste Management Authority LAWMA and a driver that they accused of driving recklessly.

The LAWMA officers blocked the road with their truck and tried to intimidate the man.

The six LAWMA workers are now in police custody.
