POLICE ARREST 40 SUSPECTS OVER CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES IN YABA, LAGOS STATE
No fewer than 40 suspected criminals have been arrested by the operatives of Lagos State Police Command at Yaba, Lagos State.
The suspects were arrested on 30th April 2024 at about 22:00hrs by the Operatives Lagos Rapid Response Squad (RRS) working with members of Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency following the different complaints from members of the public about the activities of criminals who waylay passersby and rob them of their belongings within the areas.
However, among the arrested 40 suspects during operation, nine were released to their family members after a thorough screening of all the suspects at RRS Headquarters, Alausa.
Meanwhile, the remaining 31 suspects will be charged to court in line with the directives of the commissioner of police.
