The troops successfully eliminated the group's kingpin in a fire fight and recovered one AK-47 rifle with 2 magazines, 7 rounds of 7.62 mm (Special)&nbsp;and a motorcycle.</p><p><br></p><p>In a related development, troops foiled a kidnapping attempt, while responding to a distress call about kidnapping activities along Kasu village road, Kafanchan District in Jema'a Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The troops arrested two suspected kidnappers and recovered one fabricated rifle, 2 rounds of 7.62 mm (Special), one cartridge, and a motorcycle.</p><p><br></p><p>In another successful operation, troops neutralized a suspected armed robber at Kaskara Check Point in response to a distress call about armed robbery activities around UTC (TENTI) Junction in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
