TROOPS RAID BANDIT'S DEN, RESCUE ABDUCTED VICTIMS, ARM'S, AMMUNITION RECOVERED
In furtherance of it's clearance operation, troops of Operation Forest Sanity have carried out another successful raid on bandits’ hideout in the Kuriga-Manini-Udawa general areas, along the Chikun-Birnin Gwari boundary.
Available reports indicate that the troops carried out search-and-rescue operations at the hideout located around Ungwan Malam Ali, where they engaged the bandits in a gun duel and subsequently overpowered the terrorists who withdrew with gunshot wounds under the superior firepower of the advancing forces.
One AK-47 rifle,18 rounds of ammunition,and 11 pump action cartridge was confiscated from the terrorist, three abducted persons identified as; Luka Ibrahim,
Yusuf Jibril,and
Saminu Abdullahi was equally rescued by the operatives.
