BREAKING: ONDO ASSEMBLY MAJORITY LEADER RESIGNS

Amid the political crisis in the Ondo State House of Assembly, the Majority Leader of the Assembly, Jamiu Maito, has resigned.


Maito’s resignation letter was read by the Clerk of the House, Bode Adeyelu, during the plenary session on Wednesday, July 8, 2020.

This is coming few hours after the leadership of the Assembly suspended the Deputy Speaker, Hon Iroju Ogundeji and Hon Adewale Williams for alleged unruly behaviour, Eons Intelligence reports.
