BANDITS KIDNAP FORMER NBC DIRECTOR AND HIS DAUGHTER IN BAKORI LGA OF KATSINA
Bandits have abducted a retired NBC Director, Alhaji Ahmed Abdulkadir, and his daughter at Bakori LGA of Katsina State.
The incident happened shortly after gunmen stormed Kurami village in Bakori Local Government Area of the state, where they abducted the wife and children of Dr Ibrahim Kurami, also a member of the Katsina assembly.
Eons Intelligence gathered that three other residents were abducted by the bandits who wielded AK 47 rifles.
Others abducted were Alhaji Bello Aminu Bakori, Shamsuddeen Aminu and a certain Habibu Rabe of Local Education Authority, Bakori. However, they regained their freedom one hour after the abduction as vigilantes in the area mobilized themselves and went after them.
Sources say the security personnel engaged the assailants in a gun battle and rescued the trio. However, the former NBC director and his daughter are still being held hostage.
This is coming barely 48 hours after the younger sister of Hon. Shehu Dalhatu Tafoki, Deputy Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, has been kidnapped.
Also recall that Eons Intelligence reported on Friday that gunmen abducted some children and relatives of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) in Katsina, Mustapha Inuwa.
