GUNMEN KIDNAP NIGERIA LABOUR CONGRESS CHAIRMAN CROSS RIVER STATE CHAPTER
Gunmen on Sunday kidnapped the Nigeria Labour Congress Chairman, Cross River state chapter, Comrade Ben Ukpekpi.
Eons Intelligence gathered that around 8pm, Ukpekpi and his wife were whisked away by gunmen from the front of his house at Crospil Estate, Akpabuyo in Calabar.
In a bid to know where the bandits are taking his parents, the son immediately got into a car and chased them through the river at the bridgehead at Atimbo. The gunmen shot at his tyres bursting them.
Recall that Comrade Ukpekpi had initially been abducted from his house in December 2019. This will make it the second time the NLC Chairman of the Cross River State chapter will be kidnapped.
