BREAKING: KANO GOVERNMENT QUARANTINES 2000 ALMAJIRI KIDS
Kano State Government has quarantined 2000 almajiri kids to curb the spread of Coronavirus in the state.
The State Commissioner for Health, Aminu Tsanyawa disclosed this on Thursday, May 14.
Speaking at the opening of the training for rapid response team on COVID-19, the Commissioner said Kano State Government has quarantined 2000 almajiri kids at camps in Kiru, Gabasawa and Karaye Local Government Area of the State.
He added that trainees have been selected from medical doctors, nurses, community health workers and laboratory scientists to test and screen the almajiri kids.
