CAN CHAIRMAN TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19
The Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Adamawa State Chapter, Most Rev. Stephen Mamza, has tested positive for COVID-19.
The cleric, also the Bishop of the Catholic Dioceses of Yola, was tested by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) after he took ill, which came out positive.
Mamza, who is also a member of the Adamawa State Containment Committee for COVID-19, has since gone into isolation after confirmation by the NCDC.

He urged the residents of Adamawa to ensure that all preventive measures put in place by the health agencies are observed to curb the spread of the infection.
Mamza urged the people not to see COVID-19 as a death sentence, while urging prayers for himself and all others, who had tested positive for the disease.

“One lesson I want people to appreciate and understand is that people have to make themselves available for testing if need be. Testing positive for COVID-19 is not a death sentence,” he stated.
