EIGHT ABDUCTED RCCG MEMBERS REGAIN FREEDOM

Reports indicate that about eight members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God who were abducted in Kaduna on March 26, 2021, have regained their freedom.

Recall that the victims were kidnapped two weeks ago while on evangelism along the Kaduna-Kachia road, in Southern Kaduna.

In a statement via the official Twitter handle of the General Overseer of the Reedemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the abducted victims have been taken to the hospital for checkup.

It is unclear if a ransom was paid to secure their release, however, reports say they were freed in batches. Three of them were said to have been released by their abductors on Tuesday, while the remaining five persons regained freedom on Thursday.
