GUNMEN KIDNAP KOGI VARSITY STUDENTS
Suspected gunmen have invaded and kidnapped many students of the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTEC) at Osara, Okene, Kogi State.
The information available indicates that the bandits who invaded the school through the bush on 10th May 2024 at about 21:00hrs and went straight to three lecture hall where the students were reading in preparation for their first semester examinations. The gunmen shot in the air sporadically to create tension in the students before they began the kidnapping.
However, the local security guards and conventional security men at the school gate engaged the bandits in gun battle which halt their evil activities within the three lecture hall before they whisked away the already kidnapped students.
