HUMANITARIAN WORKER KILLED AS NIGERIA ARMY NEUTRALIZES SCORES OF BOKO HARAM/ISWAP FIGHTERS

A humanitarian worker was killed on Sunday, March 14 during a crossfire between the Nigeria Army and ISWAP insurgents at Damasak Mobaar Local Government Area in Yobe State. 


Eons Intelligence gathered that the Nigeria military with air support killed scores of terrorists and dislodged about 20 gun trucks in a battle which began around 4 pm and lasted for about 6 hours. 


Sources say the humanitarian aid worker was hit by a stray bullet. The Nigeria military also captured one of the ISWAP fighters alive.

Meanwhile, on the same day, troops on routine patrol in the Gwoza area of Maiduguri, Borno state ran into an IED leaving three soldiers injured. The injured soldiers were promptly evacuated to a military hospital. 


The incident occurred 24 hours after 3 soldiers lost their lives in a Boko Haram/ISWAP ambush at Beninshek-Ngamdu axis in Damaturu, Borno State.
