KASTLEA CORPS MARSHAL MEETS NDA COMMANDANT, SOLICITS SUPPORT FROM MILITARY
The Corps Marshall and Chief Executive Officer of Kaduna State Traffic Law Enforcement Authority (KASTLEA), Major Garba Yahaya Rimi (Rtd) paid a courtesy visit to the Commandant, NDA, Maj Gen IM Yusuf in Kaduna on Friday.
The Corps Marshal was recieved at the NDA Headquarters, Afaka, Kaduna State. He solicited the Commandant's support in sensitizing his men on the need to obey traffic laws. He told his host that he came to solicit for assistance to solve some challenges he faced in the daily operations of KASTLEA.
He also appealed to the Commandant to help in sensitizating military personnel and civilian staff of the Academy on the need to co-operate with KASTLEA officials in the discharge of their duties. He said the two major roles his agency plays are the enforcement of traffic rules and regulations as well as rendering of Social Services to humanity.
Responding, the NDA Commandant congratulated the Corps Marshal on his appointment. He described him as a fair and firmed senior colleague. He said he worked with him at 242 Recce Battalion, Badagry, Lagos State. He also commended the efforts of KASTLEA during major Academy events.
He said the Officials and Marshals of the agency have proved their professionalism and displayed tact and firmness in the discharge of their duties. He further assured the Corps Marshal of his support, especially in the area of sensitizing his military colleagues and civilian staff of the on the need to have a valid driving license and abide by traffic rules and regulations at all times.
