OSUN TRIBUNAL: HEAVY SECURITY AS HIGH COURT CONCLUDES IT'S SITTING
It was a hectic moment as journalists, public servants, and other private business owners on the premises of Osun State High Court on Friday, January 13, 2023, were disturbed from accessing the area due to the deployment of heavy security men at the concluding sitting of the tribunal hearing of the petition against Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke.
After the loss of the July 16, 2022 polls of the All Progressives Congress candidate, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, who subsequently challenge the People's Democratic Party candidate, Mr. Adeleke’s victory.
Information available indicates that some unnamed politicians of the two party members (APC and PDP) had on Thursday exchanged allegations about the plan to attack the venue of the tribunal sitting.
This resulted to the reinforcement of security around the High Court premises to curb any assault.
