POLICE ARREST THREE SUSPECTED FRAUDSTERS IN KATSINA, RECOVER N600,000 FAKE NOTES

The Katsina State Police command has arrested three suspected fraudsters in the State.


This comes after security operatives arrested a certain Anas Lawal, 26, who hails from Nasarawa village, Dandume LGA. The suspect, who was arrested around 8pm on September 19 along Funtua-Katsina road is notorious for circulating fake naira notes. 


Lawal, who was nabbed in possession of six hundred thousand (600,000.00) fake naira notes, confessed to have received one million (1,000,000.00) naira fake currency from one Malam Usman Gombe.


The suspect further revealed he sold a bundle of the fake currency to a certain Tasi'u Nura at the cost of twenty thousand N20,000 naira.
