SO-SAFE CORPS INTERCEPTS 22 SACKS OF MARIJUANA, ARRESTS TWO IN ABEOKUTA
About 22 sacks of marijuana were intercepted, and two suspected dealers of the exhibits were arrested by the So-Safe Corps of Ogun State at Abule Sikiru, along Igbo-Ora Road, Abeokuta North LGA.
Available information indicates that So-Safe Corps operatives, during their routine patrol on December 11, 2023, around 02:30 hrs, spotted four Bajaj motorbikes, with three loaded with sacks and another carrying two persons on top leading the three with sacks on their route. The four motorbikes were intercepted.
Subsequently, the riders of the three motorbikes loaded with sacks fled, while the two persons leading the three riders were arrested.
Recovered items included 22 sacks of marijuana, four Bajaj motorbikes, and various local charms.
