US EDUCATION SECRETARY RESIGNS FROM PRESIDENT TRUMP'S CABINET
US Education Secretary, Betsy DeVos, on Thursday January 7, announced her resignation from President Trump's cabinet.
She becomes the second member of the President's team to quit following an attack on the US Capitol on Wednesday which led to the death of four persons.
“That behavior was unconscionable for our country. There is no mistaking the impact your rhetoric had on the situation, and it is the inflection point for me,” DeVos said in a letter addressed to President Trump published in several US media outlets.
