BANDITS KIDNAP APC WOMEN LEADER, OTHERS IN KADUNA STATE
No fewer than two women leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) alongside some persons were kidnapped by bandits on 30th May 2023 along Manini flash point, Birnin Gwari LGA, Kaduna State.
The information available indicates that after the women attended the inauguration of the state governor, Senator Uba Sani on Monday, the bandits blocked the road on their return journey and kidnapped the women and dozens of others, and immediately whisked them into the forest.
The kidnapped victims are the Birnin Gwari APC women leader, Hajiya Lami Awarware, and her assistant, Hajiya Haulatu Aliyu.
Meanwhile, the abductors are yet to contact the families of the victims or any person in the area to discuss any ransom.
