  		'post_content' => '<p>Gunmen on 25th July 2023 killed two police officers during a familiarization tour of Commissioner for Trade, Commerce and Investment, Chimezie Ukaegbu, at the popular SAMECK Junction around Ariaria International Market, Aba, Abia State.</p><p><br></p><p>The information available indicates that the assailants attacked and opened fire at the security convoy around 1600hrs at the time it was en route to Ekeoha Shopping Plaza which resulted in the death of a constable and an inspector who was not initially part of the convoy but was on a separate assignment with a police Hilux.</p><p> </p><p>During the attack, some people sustained bullet wounds while residents were forced to hide inside their shops and houses until late hours on Tuesday.</p><p><br></p><p>Meanwhile, the police operative surfaced at the scene on 26th July 2023 and arrested some suspects while they also stationed some operatives inside seven police trucks to uphold peace and forestall any breakdown of law and order at the Ariaria Market.</p>',
