KOGI ELECTION: MILITARY ARRESTS FIVE SUSPECTED POLITICAL THUGS WITH AK-47 ASSAULT RIFLES
No fewer than 5 hoodlums were arrested by the military task force following the clash that ensued between two rival political thugs which claimed lives at Anyigba in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The information available indicates that the hoodlums engaged themselves in a gun duel, at about 1400hrs, 7th October 2033 causing people to scamper for safety in different directions. The thugs that died were alleged to have been killed by their members over rivalry or sharing formula tussles.
Subsequently, the military performed a mop-up operation that lasted over one hour which resulted in capturing 5 among the 12 armed thugs who were driving in two Toyota Sienna Buses which were eventually impounded.
