Troops from Operation HADIN KAI, in collaboration with local vigilantes and hunters, have successfully neutralized a senior Boko Haram commander and arrested a suspected drone and logistics supplier in Madagali Local Government Area, Adamawa State.

According to Zagazola Makama, the operation unfolded on Thursday at approximately 5:30 p.m. when troops ambushed Boko Haram fighters along the Visik River line. The assault led to the neutralization of Abdullahi Mafa, a former hybrid commander of Boko Haram in Madagali.

Later that evening, around 6:30 p.m., troops raided Madagali Motor Park and apprehended 64-year-old Dauda Usman Gubula, a suspected Boko Haram collaborator and drone supplier. Recovered items included two drones and 20 solar power banks, which were allegedly meant for Boko Haram operations.
