NSCDC BUSTS OIL PIPELINE SYNDICATE, ARRESTS 2
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Lagos State Command (NSCDC) has busted a syndicate of oil pipeline vandals in the Baruwa area of Alimosho Local Government Area of the State. The operatives also arrested two vandals caught in the act.
Eons Intelligence gathered that at about 1:35 am on Saturday, the NSCDC got credible intelligence on the activities of oil vandals in Baruwa and swiftly dispatched a team of anti-vandal unit on patrol to the area while the Armed Squad Commander, of the Command and the Divisional Officer, Alimosho Division were ordered to provide backup for the operatives already at the scene.
The NSCDC successfully overpowered the vandals and hoodlums at the scene who attacked the officials. Eventually, two of the vandals were arrested while others fled the scene of the crime.
The operatives also recovered a tanker loaded with 60,000 litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).

Investigations are ongoing and the NNPC authorities have begun repair works on the vandalized pipeline.
