POLICE ARREST SHOPS' BURGLARS, RECOVER FOOD ITEMS IN ANAMBRA STATE
A four-man gang that specialises in burgling commercial shops in Anambra State have been arrested by the operative of Anambra State Police Command.
The information available indicates that the gang were busted at their hideout on 30th August 2023 by the tactical officer who impeded all escape routes following the intelligence information received about their convergence at the location.
Items recovered from them are two motorcycles, two big generators, one wheelbarrow, a deep freezer, three bags of rice and two large iron cutters.
Meanwhile, the police are investigating the Nanka community where the suspects did their last illegal operations and to locate the owner of the store and motor licensing office for records of owners of the motorcycles to return the recovered items to the rightful owners on bond while the suspects are to be arraigned in court as soon as investigation is concluded.
