TWO FBI AGENTS SHOT DEAD, THREE OTHERS INJURED WHILE EXECUTING SEARCH WARRANT IN FLORIDA
Reports indicate that two FBI agents were killed and three others were injured in a shooting on Tuesday morning as security operatives were executing a search warrant at a home in Sunrise, Florida.
According to a statement by the Sunrise Police Department in Florida, the incident happened around 6am at an address on Nob Hill Road. The police also confirmed that the suspect who shot the deceased security personnel was also killed.
Two of the injured security operatives are currently responding to treatment at the hospital. However the FBI did not disclose the details of the agents who were shot dead.
"In accordance with FBI policy, the shooting incident is under investigation by the FBI’s Inspection Division. The review process is thorough and objective and is conducted as expeditiously as possible under the circumstances. Because this is an ongoing investigation, no further information will be released at this time," the FBI said in a statement.
