ATLANTA SHOOTINGS LEAVE 8 PEOPLE DEAD IN THE SPACE OF ONE HOUR, POLICE ARREST 1

Eight people were killed at three Atalanta spas within the space of one hour on Tuesday in what many fear may be related to hate crimes against Asians in America.


The incident occurred at spas located within northeast Atlanta and four of the victims have been identified as Asians by Korean officials.


The Atlanta Police Department has arrested a 21-year-old man in connection to the three shootings. 

The suspect, identified as Robert Aaron Long was arrested following a car chase and has been transported to the Crisp County jail while investigators work to unravel the motive for the shootings.

The incident occurred amid recent waves of hate crimes against Asians in America following the spread of the Coronavirus.

To prevent more attacks, the Atlanta police have dispatched offices to nearby similar businesses and increased patrols in the area.
