  		'post_content' => '<p>About 14 officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority&nbsp;</p><p>(LASTMA) has been arrested over alleged extortion and high-handedness in line with the extant rules and regulations of the state.</p><p><br></p><p>The Director of Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of LASTMA, Adebayo Taofiq, disclosed in a statement on 23rd October 2023 that the personnel include eleven senior and three junior officers were caught at different locations across the state extorting money (bribes) from motorists.</p><p><br></p><p>Subsequently,&nbsp;their trial has been approved by the Authority’s General Manager, Mr. Bolaji Oreagba.</p><p><br></p><p>However, the cases against the officers had been investigated, and found guilty of extortion and high-handedness.
