WOMAN ACCUSES MIGOS RAPPER, TAKEOFF OF RAPE

A new civil lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court, on Wednesday, August 5, was filed against rapper Kirshnik Khari Ball, popularly known as Takeoff, of the hip-hop group Migos, accusing him of raping a woman at a party.

The woman, identified as Jane Doe, filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court, claiming that the incident happened on  June 22 at a party in Encino, California.

Doe said she was invited to the party by DJ Daryl “Durel” McPherson, a backup performer of Migos.

She claimed that the “Walk it Talk it” rapper offered her marijuana but she declined.

The lawsuit said, after Takeoff ran into Doe and Durel in a staircase, the rapper followed the plaintiff into an upstairs bedroom, where he raped her.

The woman went to a hospital the same day, and staff observed “physical evidence of forceful rape” and notified the LAPD.

Neama Rahmani, the plaintiff’s attorney, in a statement, said, “Our client is terrified, she has already been victimized because of the incident and continues to be victimized because Takeoff is a free man and has yet to be arrested. We hope that law enforcement pursues its investigation more aggressively, so she can receive the criminal justice she deserves.”
