Hoodlums on October 20, set the Ojoo police station on fire in Ibadan, after police killed three persons in a clash with thugs.
Similarly, on October 22, some suspected hoodlums, who disguised as #EndSARS protesters, invaded the Nigeria Customs base in Iseyin, Oyo State, and carted away valuables.
The Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Chuks Enwonwu, had paraded nine suspects in connection with robbery and burning of the police station in Iseyin.
Confirming the latest arrest, the Chairman of Iseyin Development Union, Alhaji Bayo Raji said the community was assisting the police to arrest the hoodlums who carried out the attack.
He said: “It is true that 15 suspects have been arrested. We need Police Area Command in Iseyin. Our population is much more than the number of security personnel here and we owe it a duty to assist in protecting facilities in our community.”
