OPERATION HAIL STORM: AIR TASK FORCE DESTROYS BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS STRUCTURES, NEUTRALISES THEIR FIGHTERS AT WARSHALE
The Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation LAFIYA DOYLE under the subsidiary operation of HAIL STORM has successfully neutralised and destroyed Boko Haram Terrorists Structures (BHTs) and their fighters at Warshale in Borno State.
This was made known by Major General John Enenche, Coordinator Defence Media Operations, on August 21st, 2020.
He said the mission was executed after credible intelligence reports, and series of aerial surveillance missions was established.

Enenche revealed that the ATF dispatched Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets and attack helicopters which engaged the location recording devastating hits resulting in the obliteration of several structures as well as the neutralisation of some of the terrorists.
He said the Armed forces of Nigeria operating in collaboration with other security agencies and stakeholders will sustain its efforts to rid the North-East of all terrorists and other criminal elements.
