BANDITS KIDNAP TEACHER, FOUR OTHERS IN YOBE COMMUNITY
Reports indicate that Bandits have kidnapped Babagana Kachalla, an Assistant Headmaster, Central Primary School, Buni Yadi, and four others in Madiya Village, Gujba LGA of Yobe State.
The incident occurred around 8.30am on Tuesday January 25.
The other abductees are identified as Abubakar Barma, Haruna Barma, Modu Bukar and Hajiya Gana.
Confirming the incident, the Yobe State Police PRO, Dungus Abdulkarim, said the incident was reported by one Mala Boyema around 10.37am.
He noted that one of the victims luckily escaped the abduction by the assailants when he ran into their roadblock in Madiya.
The Police PRO added that security operatives have commenced a manhunt to rescue the other victims unhurt and arrest the assailants.
