BREAKING: First confirmed case of COVID-19 in Nigeria turns negative.
The Lagos State commissioner for health, Prof Akin Abayomi, confirms that the italian who brought the COVID-19 to Nigeria is now negative. According to him, the patient would be tested one more time and if he tests negative, he would be released. The COVID-19 was brought into Nigeria on the 27th of February by an Italian businessman who was on a visit to Lafarge Africa Plc, Ewekoro, Ogun State, was diagnosed with the disease, and taken to Lagos State.
