BREAKING: UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN CONFIRMS GOVERNOR OBASEKI'S CERTIFICATE
The management of the University of Ibadan (UI) has confirmed that Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki, graduated from the institution.
Olubunmi Faluyi, the University Registrar made this known in a statement on Wednesday, June 10.
Faluyi said the Governor gained admission into the University in 1976 and graduated in 1979 with a Second Class Honours (Lower Division), in Classics.
This was in response to the accusation made against Obaseki by Adams Oshiomole, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress over forgery of certificate.
It was reported that Oshiomole and Obaseki on Tuesday, June 9, criticized each other over the first degree certificates presented by the Governor from the said University.

The dispute, which started last year between Obaseki and Oshiomole has frustrated efforts of confirmed stakeholders to reconcile the politicians.
Several APC Governors including the African richest man, Aliko Dangote had tried to settle the dispute but the duo would not reconcile.
