BUHARI RETAINS DIKIO AS AMNESTY PROGRAMME BOSS
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the retention of Colonel Milland Dixon Dikio (Rtd) as Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme for another one-year tenure.
Col. Dikio was first appointed in August 2020. He took over from Professor Charles Dokubo, who was then disengaged over allegations of financial misconduct and mismanagement.
Col. Dikio has so far, obviously weathered the storm of the chaotic office, despite the various issues he met on ground upon resumption.
He is said to command widespread respect amongst the various stakeholders in the Niger Delta oil producing region. He hails from Mbiama, Ahoada West, Rivers State and this renewed tenure is to last for one year.
