DSS ARREST MONARCH, THREE FEARED DEAD IN RIVERS STATE
The monarch of King of Akoh Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Eze Cassidy Ikegbidi, Eze Igbu-Akoh II, has been arrested by the operatives of the Department of State Security, DSS, on the progress of the investigation over the gruesome murder of SP Bako Angbashim.
The arrest came after he was indefinitely suspended by the state Governor Siminalaye Fubara on 10th September 2023 for allegedly ceding the control of his domain to the notorious David Gift AKA 2Babs and his gang who killed SP Bako to freely operate and carry out their criminal activities.
Subsequently, the monarch was taken to his residence in Port Harcourt and later to his palace in the Ihugbogo community for a search as part of the investigation.
However, he has been handed over to the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, as they continue an interrogation with him over the development in his kingdom.
Similarly, the security personnel killed three men who allegedly fled their faces while sighting them coming towards their direction in Odiemere community, Ahoada East Local Government of Rivers State.
