FG SUMMONS GHANA ENVOY OVER DEMOLISHED NIGERIAN HIGH COMMISSION
The Federal Government has summoned Chargè d’ Affaires of the High Commission of Ghana to Nigeria, Iva Denoo, over the demolition of the Nigerian embassy in Ghana.
Recall that Eons Intelligence had reported yesterday that unidentified armed men attacked the building in Accra, demolishing some apartments under construction.
This was announced today by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama via his official Twitter handle.
Onyeama disclosed that Nigeria has asked the ambassador to explain the recent attacks on apartments in the country's High Commission in Accra.
The Minister tweeted; “Summoned the Chargè d’ Affaires of the High Commission of Ghana to Nigeria, Ms Iva Denoo to demand urgent explanation on the recent attacks on a residential building in our diplomatic premises and reinforcement of security around diplomatic premises and staff.”
