NEWLY CONSTRUCTED FIRS OFFICE CATCH FIRE
There has been a fire outbreak at the newly constructed Federal Inland Revenue Service in Katsina.
The office complex is located directly opposite the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina, the State capital.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
The FIRS fire incident adds to the series of fire outbreaks that had hit key Government offices in the country in recent weeks.
Recall that on July 13th, 2020, there was a fire explosion at the World Trade Centre, Abuja.
Also, on April 15th, Eons Intelligence reported that fire broke out at the headquarters of the Corporate Affairs Commission. This comes one week after the office of the Accountant-General of the Federation caught fire.
The Independent National Electoral Commission’s office in Abuja also went up in flames days after.
In addition, on April 21st, the Jos branch of the CBN in Plateau State was gutted by fire.
