POLICE ARREST FIVE OVER SHILLA GANGSTERISM, ARMED ROBBERY

Operatives of Adamawa state police command on 20 June 2023, disconnected the criminal network of Shilla gangsterism, connecting part of Kala'a Street, Doubleli, Chinko, Godobawa, Limawa all in Yola North Local Government.


The suspected Shila boys specialise in Burgling and stealing valuable items from peoples' shops/ houses within the State Capital, attacking and Robbing innocent people of their Belongings.

The outcome of this commitment designed by the command to ensuring public order, safety and security in the State, led to the arrest of these suspects from Various places including:-


 (I) Yusuf Bashir 18 years, Resident of Kala'a Street 

(ii) lsa Muhammed 20 years, Ajiya Street.

(III) Ayo Morofade 18 years, Angwan Tana. 


(IV) Shuaibu Sudais, 13years, Resident of Rumnde

(V) Muhammed Hassan 20 years 


Interestingly, One Sewing Machine, Generator, Clothing Materials, Cutlass, Handsets amongst others were recovered from the suspects.
