POLICE NEUTRALIZE SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS, RESCUE TWO ABDUCTED VICTIMS
Two abducted victims, Hassan Saidu 25yrs, and Tijjani Bello 43yrs who were kidnapped on their way from Garkida to Gombi Local government area, Adamawa state, have been rescued by a joint security operatives comprising the Police, military and local hunters.
Information available indicates that the operatives responded to the distress call on January 21, 2023, at about 0030hrs, regarding the abduction of the duo.
The operatives responded swiftly, went after the kidnappers and subsequently neutralized one while others escaped with bullet injuries. One locally fabricated rifle was confiscated from them.
