POLICE NEUTRALIZE TERRORISTS, RESCUE ABDUCTED VICTIM
Operatives of the Katsina state police command led by Kankia DPO neutralized two terrorists on September 4, 2022, at about 0230hrs.
Report indicates that the Police received a distress call that terrorists numbering eleven, on motorcycles, armed with AK 47 rifles, attacked the residence of one Alh. Ibrahim Abdullahi Tafashiya, (Male) aged 60yrs, of Kankia LGA and abducted him to an unknown destination.
Upon receipt of the report, the police team blocked the hoodlums at Juga village subsequently engaged the hoodlums in a fierce gun duel, neutralized two of the terrorists and confiscated their operational motorcycle.
The kidnapped victim was also rescued unhurt.
