POLICE PARADE FATHER OVER SELLING THREE CHILDREN FOR N1.5M IN RIVERS STATE
The Operatives of River State Police Command on 13th July 2023, paraded one ThankGod Ekwueme for selling his three children for N1.5 million.
The suspect, who sold the 5-year-old for N700,000, a 3-year-old for N350,000 and a day-old baby for N500,000 was intercepted by OSPAC following credible information on his illegal activity in his community Omerelu, Ikwerre LGA where he was about to trade his newborn baby for money.
Thereupon, the suspect confessed that he sold the children at intervals and used the proceeds to open a salon for his wife with hearing and speaking disabilities. He also confessed to having lied to his mother Inlaw that their children died during delivery.
