PRESIDENT BUHARI TO PRESENT 2021 BUDGET TO NATIONAL ASSEMBLY ON THURSDAY
President Muhammadu Buhari, will on Thursday, October 8, 2020, present the 2021 budget to the National Assembly.
Buhari made this known in a letter he wrote to the lawmakers, which Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, read at the plenary on Tuesday, October 6.
The letter said the President was requesting the audience of the lawmakers for the presentation of the budget by 11am on Thursday, October 8.
Ahead of the presentation of the 2021 budget by the President, the Senate is expected to consider and pass the 2021-2023 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and Fiscal Strategy Paper (FSP) between Tuesday, October 6, and Wednesday, October 7, 2020.
