UPDATE: ABDUCTED IMMIGRATION SPOKESWOMAN IN EDO REGAINS FREEDOM

The Spokeswoman of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) in Edo State, Bridget Esene, who was abducted on Sunday has regained freedom from her abductors.


Recall that Eons Intelligence reported on Monday that Mrs Esene was kidnapped in Agbor area, Benin city, Edo State, while going to church on Sunday.


Confirming the development, Chidi Nwabuzor, the State's Police PRO, said Mrs Esene was released around 4pm on Tuesday.


The Police PRO did not disclose if a ransom was paid for her liberty.
