BUHARI SIGNS REVISED 2020 BUDGET INTO LAW
President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the N10.8 trillion revised 2020 budget into law.
Basir Ahmad, Personal Assistant on New Media to the President, disclosed this via his twitter handle, on Friday, July 10, 2020.
"President @MBuhari today at exactly 11:04am, signed into law, the revised N10.8 trillion budget for the year 2020, the revised budget was passed by the National Assembly, last month," he tweeted.
The modification of the budget was as a result of the economic effect of COVID-19 pandemic on the country.

The President said that ministries, departments, and agencies will be given 15 per cent of their capital allocation by the end of the month.
He signed the budget inside the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja.
Present at the event were, the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, and Chief of Staff to the President, Ibrahim Gambari.
Also, the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and other principal officers witnessed the signing.
