53 PERSONS ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE LOOTING AT NYSC CAMP IN KUBWA, ABUJA - IGP

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, has said 53 persons have been arrested in connection with the looting at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) camp in Kubwa, Abuja.


Recall, Eons Intelligence reported on Tuesday, October 27, that hoodlums attacked the NYSC camp in Kubwa, carting away beds and other items.


The IGP announced this on Friday, October 30, during an inspection tour of the camp with the Director-General (DG) of the NYSC, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim.


The NYSC DG, who said the camp was not housing any palliative, stated that the hoodlums carted kits and mattresses for the corps members who were poised to resume in two weeks.

In the last one week, there has been series of violence and lootings across the country, following the #EndSARS protest.
