AIR PEACE SETS TO EVACUATE STRANDED NIGERIANS FROM THAILAND, MALAYSIA
An Air Peace aircraft is set to evacuate some stranded Nigerians from both Malaysia and Thailand.
The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) made this announcement on their official Twitter handle.
This evacuation comes barely 24 hours after 270 Nigerians arrived the country from Egypt.
This is the first evacuation of Nigerians from both countries since the Coronavirus pandemic enforced lockdowns across the globe.
The flight is expected to depart at 7am and arrive at the Nnamdi Azikwe Airport, Abuja, before proceeding to the Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos.
The evacuees would immediately commence their 14-day mandatory quarantine exercise as directed by the NCDC and the Federal Government.
