NIDCOM APPEALS TO NDDC TO PAY STRANDED STUDENTS ABROAD

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has once again appealed to the Authorities of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to pay the allowances, tuitions and other incentives of students on their scholarship scheme in the United Kingdom.

Chairman/CEO of NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa through the head of Media Public Relations and Protocol Unit of the commission, Gabriel Odu, made the plea in a statement released on Tuesday, July 27.

Dabiri-Erewa urged the NDDC to as a ‘matter of urgency intervene’ by promptly paying up all funds needed by the students to guarantee their stay and continue their education in the United Kingdom.
