ARMY DECLARES 101 SOLDIERS WANTED FOR DESERTING WARFRONT, FREEZES THEIR BANK ACCOUNTS
The Nigerian Army has declared 13 officers and 89 soldiers wanted for deserting the war front in New Marte and Dikwa in Borno state.
Eons Intelligence gathered that the soldiers absconded following the Boko Haram attack on New Marte and Dikwa on February 14 and 19.
The Nigeria Military successfully repelled multiple Boko Haram attacks on Marte, foiling the insurgents' plan to reclaim the town.
However, on February 14 the insurgents gained a momentary upper hand after intense hours of fighting, prompting the troops to tactically retreat to Dikwa.
However, the relentless troops successfully reclaimed Marte and neutralised several insurgents following orders and morale boosts from the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Ibrahim Attahiru who visited the troops at the headquarters of Super Camp 9 Lafiya Dole in Dikwa.
